The Art of Green Leather Case | 綠色皮套的藝術

Description:

With the development and popularisation of printing technology, there are more and more spaces where designers can make use of as canvases to realise ideas. The tablet leather case of Tai Shing Diary Limited (Daycraft) happens to be one of these nice ‘canvases’ suitable for designers to freely create. Daycraft’s tablet leather case features an open-ended design, the product’s minimalism has pushed the level of personalisation to the highest.

Through「DesignXcel」, Fine Art freshmasonry Katelyn Wong merged her works with Daycraft’s tablet leather cases. Her illustration depicts the surreal scenery she witnessed first hand at the Jialuo Hu lake in Taiwan, when she woke up at five after a night of camping next to the lake. The scene has been fixated in her mind, leading her to create this illustration. The text presented in the work translates to ‘allow me to become a cloud’, a poetic response to the tranquil morning when Katelyn was woken up, surrounded by the aura given off when the sunlight hits the morning fog.

The rectangular form factor of the tablet cases allows little to no excessive interference with the designs of freshmasonries; the works were merely incorporated onto the environmentally friendly leather, making them art pieces that can be carried around.

隨著印刷技術的發展和普及，設計師可以利用越來越多的空間作為畫布來實現創意。 大誠日記有限公司(Daycraft)的平板電腦皮套恰好是適合設計師自由創作的精美「畫布」之一。 Daycraft的平板電腦皮套採用開放式設計，這個採用極簡約設計的產品將其個人化程度提升至最高水平。

在《設計列陣》中，修讀藝術的設計新鮮人黃凱筠將她的作品與Daycraft的平板電腦皮套融合。她的插圖描繪了她在台灣加羅湖湖邊露營了一晚，翌日清晨五點鐘醒來時親眼目睹的超現實風景。這個場面一直在她腦海中浮現，引導她繪出這幅插圖。作品中的文字翻譯為「就讓我先做一朵雲吧」，這是當黃同學醒來時看見空靈靜謐的早晨，自己被陽光照耀雲霞時透出的光圈圍繞時想到的一句充滿詩意的回應。

平板電腦外殼的矩形結構幾乎沒有對設計新鮮人的設計造成任何過量干擾，而這些作品僅被納入環保皮革中，使其成為可隨身攜帶的藝術品。
