Animal Rescue Team | 動物拯救隊

Description:
Industrial collaborator People on Board Social Enterprise Limited is committed to work with different groups and companies in the community to design and produce board games with Hong Kong’s unique subjectivity. It also practices its corporate responsibilities, pursuing the goal of job creation, encouraging innovation and promote social responsibility. The board game ‘Animal Rescue Team’, a collaboration with design freshmasonry Alex, is created for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). It aims to deepen the player’s understanding of SPCA’s work through the game, and to cultivate the player’s attention to and care for animals.

Alex Poon and People on Board Social Enterprise Limited jointly designed the gameplay to integrate the message of adopting (and not abandoning) pets and animals. The game interface and chess pieces feature Alex’s colourful and elaborate illustrations. Players need to use different tool cards in the game to save the animals and find a foster family for them. The player wins by arranging the most adopters for the animals. The game has an approachable graphic presentation that makes it easier for players to receive messages embedded within the game, as well as to enrich the knowledge of both the collaborator and design freshmasonry.

工業合作夥伴樂在棋中社會企業有限公司致力與社會上不同團體和公司合作，設計和製作具有香港獨特個性的棋盤遊戲。它還履行其企業責任，追求創造就業、鼓勵創新和促進社會責任的目標。與設計新鮮人潘焯鏗合作打造的平面遊戲「動物拯救隊」是為香港愛護動物協會（SPCA）創建的。它旨在通過遊戲加深玩家對香港愛護動物協會工作的理解，培養玩家對動物的關注和愛護。

潘同學和樂在棋中社會企業有限公司聯合設計了遊戲玩法，容合了收養（而不是棄養）寵物和動物的信息。遊戲界面和棋子以潘同學豐富多彩的精美插圖為特色。玩家需要在遊戲中使用不同的工具卡來拯救動物並為他們找到寄養家庭，能夠為動物編配最多收養者的玩家則獲勝。該遊戲具有簡單易明的圖像演示，使玩家更容易接收遊戲中嵌入的消息，以及豐富合作夥伴和設計新鮮人的知識。
